Many different forms of sculpture were used in the many different regions of Asia, often based around the religions of Hinduism and Buddhism. A great deal of Cambodian Hindu and Java (Blora City, Indonesia) sculpture is preserved at Angkor, however organized looting has had a heavy impact on many sites around the country.
